I.SO Italia, under the supervision of the "Stazione Sperimentale di Vetro" (Glass Experimental Observatory) in Murano, has perfected the selective system of the UV-A rays, achieving the best possible balance between the irradiating group and the filtering combination (this is certified by the institute through tests for determining the transmittance spectrum of the 300-500 mm interval). This balance makes it possible to achieve the best tanning effect in the shortest time, whilst still guaranteeing the quality of the tan and full respect of the skin.

The chart issued by the analysis laboratory, highlights the UV-B and UV-A ray sections, measured with three different types of filter-lamp combinations. UV filter-Iso model S+Sicur Plex 1400w lamps; UV filter-Iso model S+Tempered filter+Sicur Plex for 2400w lamps; FUV filter-Iso model K+Sicur Plex for 400 to 1400w lamps. Sicur Plex, , which is an integral part of all I.SO Italia filter systems, carries out a filtering function and protects from possible fragments of glass should a filter accidentally break. Iso Light lamps, which are produced expressly for I.SO Italia, guarantee extremely high output and power. In optimal temperature and environment conditions, Iso Light lamps perform excellently throughout their life, even if exposed to intense workloads. The supports, and their dimensions and technical characteristics have been designed to offer the maximum return over time, with the least waste of energy.
